Summer reading? How about summer reading purge fest?!
Take this month and go through your books. If you are like me and Joe, we combined all our books and had some duplicates to donate. We also had several bibles that we can give to our church to use. M has acquired a lot of books herself but some are a little too mature for her age so I plan on taking them off the shelf and storing them until she's a little older.
If your book collection is at it's best. take this month as an opportunity to style your bookcase. Move children's books to the bottom shelves so the kids can reach them. Add new picture frames or update the pictures inside frames you already have. My favorite, paint the wall behind the shelves for an extra somethin somethin.
