Our good friends, Sam and Helen stopped by for a visit a week or so after Madeleine was born. Helen Byrd is a talented photographer and we asked if she would snap a few photos of the baby while they were here. It was really cool to see how she set up for the pictures...boppy, blankets, sound machine on her iphone, etc. She was so patient with us while we tried to soothe madeleine who pooped on two blankets during the shoot...that's our girl!
