unpinned- pantry labels

I really like to the look of chalk labels but when it comes to actually writing in chalk, I am not the best.  Awhile back I pinned these Labels onto my Pantry board but they weren't editable and didn't have the text I was looking for so I decided to make my own:)

In Adobe Illustrator, I created a black design that I liked and then added a text box using white font.

I printed them out and then lightly colored them with chalk to make it look like the background had that erased blackboard look.  To self laminate I simply covered them with clear packing tape and then cut them out.  I applied them to my canisters using dot glue. Easy peasy!!
